AsoporiTech ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Asopori mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our App.

Note: This Privacy Policy applies solely to the Asopori App. The privacy practices of our website (asopori.com) may differ. The App is designed as an offline-first tool for CV creation, an advanced Exam Management System, and an online client for reading educational content.

1. Information We Collect

We categorize data collection into three types: Local Data (stored on your device), Network Data (processed for functionality and recovery), and Third-Party Data (advertising partners).

A. Local Data (User-Generated Content)

The data you enter in the App’s core features is stored locally on your device using secure internal storage and local databases (sqflite).

  • CV Information: Full Name, Parents' Names, Date of Birth, Contact Details (Phone, Email, Address), NID, Educational Qualifications, Work Experience, Skills, and Licenses.

  • Media Files: User-selected photos and signatures are processed and stored locally for PDF generation.

  • Search History: Terms you search for within the App are saved in a local database for your convenience.

  • App Preferences: Settings such as Theme (Dark/Light mode) and Language (Bangla/English) are saved locally.

B. Network Data & Permanent Identification

The App requires an internet connection to fetch educational materials and manage the competitive exam system.

  • API Communication: The App retrieves public posts, categories, and exam questions from our backend (https://asopori.com).

  • Permanent Device ID (Student Identity): To provide a seamless experience, we collect a permanent hardware identifier (such as Android ID or IDFV for iOS).

    • Purpose: This ID acts as your unique "Student Identity." It allows the App to recognize you and recover your "Student Name" and "Global Rank" even if you clear the App's cache or reinstall the App.

    • Exam Integrity: This ID is used to prevent multiple attempts at the same exam from one device and to ensure fair leaderboard rankings.

    • No Personal Linking: This ID is used for functional identification and is not linked to any social media profile or personal login system.

  • Standard Server Logs: Basic technical information (IP address, device model) may be logged for security and traffic analysis.

C. Advertising & Mediation Data

To keep the App free, we use a hybrid advertising system involving Google AdMob and Meta Audience Network (Mediation).

  • Advertising ID: These networks access your device’s Advertising ID (AAID) to deliver relevant ads.

  • Ad Interaction: Partners collect data on ad impressions, clicks, and video views (specifically for Rewarded Ads).

  • Mediation: We use AdMob as our primary mediation provider to serve ads from both Google and Meta. This ensures high-quality advertisements and optimal performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • CV Generation: Your data is used exclusively on your device to generate professional PDF documents.

  • Identity & Rank Recovery: Using your permanent Device ID, we retrieve your previous records (Name and Ranks) from our server after a fresh installation or data clear.

  • Rewarded Content Access: We use a Rewarded Interstitial Ad system. Users may voluntarily choose to watch a short advertisement to "Unlock" specific premium features, such as detailed Exam Results and Answer Analysis.

  • Offline Access: With your consent, educational posts are cached locally for offline reading.

  • Android 15 Compliance: The App is optimized for the latest Android standards, including support for 16 KB memory page sizes, ensuring stability and security on the newest devices.

3. App Permissions

  • Internet & Network State: Required to fetch data, sync ranks, and serve ads.

  • Advertising ID Permission: Required by Google and Meta for ad delivery and analytics.

  • Private Storage Access: The App uses the "Application Documents Directory" to store PDFs and data privately. It does not require broad access to your entire file system (Photos/Videos) thanks to modern secure file-picking methods.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Server-Side Data: Only your Device ID, Student Name (Alias), and Exam Scores are stored on our servers for the Leaderboard system. We DO NOT store your private CV details or photos on our servers.

  • Local Security: Your sensitive CV data is as secure as your physical device.

  • No Third-Party Sale: We do not sell or trade your data. Non-personal technical data is shared only with certified partners (Google/Meta) for advertising purposes.

5. Data Deletion and User Control

You have full control over your information:

  • Edit/Overwrite: You can change your CV data or Student Name within the App at any time. New submissions will overwrite old data on the server associated with your Device ID.

  • Clear History: Local search history can be cleared via the App settings.

  • Permanent Deletion: To remove local data, you can uninstall the App. To request the removal of your Device ID and Scores from our server leaderboard, please contact us via email.

6. Advertising Partners & Third-Party Links

  • External Links: The App may contain links to asopori.com or other external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external entities.

7. Age Restriction

The App is designed for students and job seekers (general audience). We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 13. Our advertising settings are configured to comply with family and child safety regulations where applicable.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy to reflect new features or regulatory changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
